During her 40-year career as an animator, Ruthie Thompson had participated in the creation of many animated feature films such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and "Pinocchio". Former Disney CEO Bob Iger called Ruth Thompson a "legend among animators." He also said in a separate statement: "Her creative contributions to Disney - from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Pinocchio - remain beloved classics to this day. We will miss her smile and wonderful sense of humor, and her outstanding work and pioneering spirit will always inspire us all." Thompson is one of Disney's earliest animators. Starting with "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", she participated in every Disney animated feature film from 1937 to 1977, doing scene movement and other work.
