Dune grossed $76.5 million overseas

As of last Sunday, the sci-fi blockbuster "Dune" directed by Denis Villeneuve has earned $76.5 million in 32 overseas markets. Among the major market box office performances: Russia remains the largest overseas box office with $15 million, France with $13.4 million, Germany with $10.2 million, Italy with $5.1 million, Spain with $4.9 million, the Netherlands with $2.9 million, and Taiwan with $2.9 million.

At present, the film's overseas box office figures are still quite impressive, but with a production cost of up to $165 million, it means that it needs to generate higher box office revenue in theaters to make a profit. The film was released in Japan on October 15 and landed in major markets such as North America and China on October 22, and will be released on HBO Max at the same time.

The Marvel superhero movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings earned another $14 million in its fourth weekend, and its overseas box office reached $166.9 million, achieving its fourth consecutive championship. Currently, the film has accumulated a total of $196 million in North America, becoming the highest-grossing film in North America this year, and is expected to break the $200 million mark next week. The film's global box office has accumulated $363.4 million, which is a considerable achievement.

As of the end of Sunday, Disney's science fiction comedy "Player" had taken in another $5.1 million in 48 overseas markets, bringing its overseas box office to over $200 million, totaling $203.3 million and a global box office of $317 million.
