Director Mamoru Hosoda's new animated theatrical film "The Dragon and the Freckles Princess" will be released on July 16. Today, on June 30, it was officially announced that the IMAX version will also be released at the same time, and the latest poster was also released. This is also the first IMAX adaptation of Director Mamoru Hosoda's work, so stay tuned.

"The Dragon and the Freckles Princess" is Mamoru Hosoda's latest animated feature film three years after "Mirai" in 2018. It tells the story of a 17-year-old female high school student Ling, whose mother died in an accident when she was young. She lives with her father in a small rural town with fewer and fewer people. One day, she learns about the online virtual world "U" and joins "U" under the pseudonym Bell, and gradually learns about the wonderful story of the mysterious dragon hidden in "U".

The original work, script and director of the animated feature film "The Dragon and the Freckles Princess" are all by Mamoru Hosoda. Nakamura Kaho, Narita Ryo, Sometani Shota, Tamashiro Tina, Morikawa Tomoyuki, Tsuda Kenjiro, Koyama Mami, Miyano Mamoru and other voice actors have confirmed their participation, so stay tuned.
