Netflix announces strategic alliance with Spielberg to launch more works in the future

According to Reuters, Netflix announced on June 21 local time that it has formed a strategic alliance with the film and television company of famous director Steven Spielberg, and will bring several new works of Spielberg to Netflix every year in the future.

Spielberg and Netflix have had an unfriendly relationship in recent years because Spielberg advocates that movies watched on TV platforms should not be classified as Oscars, but should be classified as Emmy Awards, and always insists that only movie theaters are the destination of movies.

However, with the signing of the strategic agreement, Spielberg's ideas seem to have loosened. Spielberg said that he has communicated clearly with Netflix and will be more willing to use new methods to convey excellent works to the audience in the future.
