The new version of "The Flash" script written by the leading actor himself may be released next week

Ezra Miller has played the Flash since "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". According to the latest news, Miller is currently working with comic author Grant Morrison to write a script for the "Flash" movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the decision was due to a "clash of creative visions," as directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein wanted to make The Flash a little more lighthearted, while Miller wanted The Flash to "take a darker approach to the subject matter."

In addition, according to sources, this version of the script may be officially submitted as early as next week.

It is said that if Warner Pictures rejects the "Flash" script co-written by Miller and Morrison, Miller as the actor of "The Flash" may leave the crew, because Miller's contract with "The Flash" will expire in May this year.

Although there seems to be friction between the actors and the crew, Miller actually still has in-depth cooperation with Warner Pictures. He played an important role in the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" series, Credence Barebone.

The lighter and more humorous strategy that Warner Bros. wants to adopt can actually be seen from the shooting style of the recent "Aquaman", and the box office success of "Aquaman" has undoubtedly strengthened Warner's confidence to continue. "Shazam" to be released later this year will also take a lighter and more humorous route.

The preparations for the filming of "The Flash" were very bumpy. First, the original director Rick Famuyiwa was lost, and then the production plan was postponed to 2018 in 2016, so the film's release date may also be postponed to 2021.
