Meteor Garden, which originated from "Boys Over Flowers", won the Guinness record for the most girls' comics published by a single author

The Taiwanese idol drama "Meteor Garden", which was once popular throughout Southeast Asia and was adapted from "Boys Over Flowers", officially announced that it had won the Guinness record and became the world's most-published girls' comic by a single author, with the total number of copies reaching 59,409,000.

"Hana Yori Dango", originally known as "Hana Yori Dango" in Japanese, is a long-running girls' manga created by Japanese cartoonist Yoko Kamio. It was serialized in Shueisha's comic magazine "Margaret" from 1992 to 2004, and 37 volumes of single volumes were issued, with sales exceeding 59 million copies, occupying the throne of the best-selling girls' manga in Japan. It has been translated into various languages and sold overseas. It has been adapted into TV series, movies and animations many times.

The story revolves around Makino Tsukushi, who was born in a poor family. She was forced by her snobbish parents to attend Eitoku Gakuen, an aristocratic school founded by the four most influential families in the political and economic circles to cultivate outstanding offspring. The heirs of the four major families, Daoming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Ximen Sojiro, and Mimasaka Rei, are collectively known as "F4" (i.e. Flower 4). Because the academy received huge sponsorship funds from their parents, they have various privileges in the academy.
