After leaving "Fast and Furious 10", director Justin Lin soon had a new project. According to Deadline, Justin Lin will direct the live-action movie of "One Punch Man". Lin will produce the One Punch Man movie with Sony Pictures, which is reportedly very optimistic about turning it into a franchise. Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, writers of Venom, Cowboy Bebop, and Jumanji, will write the script for One Punch Man. "One Punch Man" is another live-action Japanese anime after "One Piece", "Mobile Suit Gundam" and "Cowboy Bebop". Justin Lin was originally scheduled to direct Fast & Furious 10, but due to script issues and disagreements with lead actor Vin Diesel, he withdrew from the director's post, but remained a producer of the film. However, he is now directing One Punch Man, suggesting that Fast & Furious 10 is no longer Lin's priority. "Fast & Furious 10" will be released on May 19, 2023, while "One Punch Man" has not yet been scheduled. |
