Netizens are dissatisfied with the cuts in "Fatal Induction" and the official Weibo account issued an anti-piracy statement

The horror film "Fatal Induction" directed by James Wan was recently released on Chinese streaming media simultaneously with North America, but the version released was a cut, which caused dissatisfaction among many netizens, who said they would rather watch the complete, uncut version. It is worth mentioning that pirated copies of the film have already been circulated on the Internet.

Tonight, the official Weibo account of the movie "Fatal Induction" released a statement calling on the audience to support the "genuine version", pointing out that "Director James Wan personally directed the editing of the Chinese version" and emphasizing how difficult it is for the work to meet the audience, saying that "if the work ends up as a pirated copy, the legitimate rights and interests of the creators will not be protected, and the platform will no longer have the courage to purchase genuine films."
