Today (August 25), the new work of the Conjuring horror universe "The Nun 2" announced that it will be released in North America on September 8 next year. Bonnie Aarons will continue to play the role of the nun. The director of "The Conjuring 3" Michael Chavez will direct it, and the screenwriter Akela Cooper will be responsible for the script.

2018's "The Nun" is a spin-off film of "The Conjuring" horror universe, focusing on the independent story of Valak, the very scene-stealing ghost nun in "The Conjuring 2". It has grossed $360 million worldwide. "The Nun 2" will be the ninth film in the "The Conjuring" universe.
