"No Time to Die" is scheduled to be released on September 28th

The long-delayed "No Time to Die" is finally here. The film has announced that it will have its world premiere on September 28 this year, still at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It is currently confirmed that Belgium and Switzerland will be the first to be released globally on September 29, and will be released in its hometown of the UK and most countries and regions around the world on September 30, and in North America on October 8. The release date in mainland China has not yet been determined.

This film is Daniel Craig's last time playing Bond, and Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Rory Kinnear, and Christoph Waltz also return. Ana de Armas, who worked with Craig in Knives Out, transforms into a cool gun-wielding girl, Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel) plays the new "00" agent who temporarily takes over the title of 007 due to Bond's retirement, and Rami Malek plays the villain.

According to Variety, the film cost as much as $301 million to make! As of October last year, the publicity and promotion costs had reached $66 million. Last year, it was also reported that MGM intended to release the film on streaming media, hoping that streaming media such as Netflix and Apple TV+ would buy it for a sky-high price of $600 million to $850 million (excluding mainland China). Unfortunately, the price was too high and they gave up. It is conceivable how high the box office of this film would have to be to make up for the cost.

Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) is directing, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is involved in polishing the script.

It tells the story of Bond, who has retired and is enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. But his peaceful days are short-lived when an old friend, Felix Leiter from the CIA, comes to ask for help, asking him to rescue a kidnapped scientist. This mission is more dangerous than expected, and Bond finds a mysterious villain armed with dangerous technology.
