"Better Call Saul" posts for the first time after fainting and hospitalization: I had a heart attack

Bob Odenkirk, star of the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul, was hospitalized on Tuesday for "heart-related issues." After resting, Odenkirk's condition improved and he posted a series of tweets today.

In his first public statement since collapsing in Arizona, Odenkirk thanked his family, friends and well-wishers and said he had suffered a "heart attack."

"Thank you. Thank you to my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. Thank you to everyone who has shown me care and love," Odenkirk wrote. "It has been so powerful, I have felt the love, and it has meant so much to me."

Odenkirk did not reveal when he would be released from the hospital, only saying, "It's going to take me a little time to recover, but I'll be back soon."
