Edgar Ramirez: Borderlands movie restores game style

Edgar Ramirez will play the role of "Atlas" in the movie version of "Borderlands". Recently, he introduced the parts of this adapted movie that gamers can look forward to.

Ramirez, who has starred in "Jungle Cruise" and "Point Break," recently told the media that he is not a gamer and was not familiar with "Borderlands" before playing a new role. However, he quickly fell in love with the style of the movie and its black humor.

"At the end of the day, games and movies are about telling stories," Ramirez said. "What's special about a game like Borderlands is the story and the style. So now I understand the game. I didn't before. The style is spectacular."

"Borderlands is able to be dark, humorous, and weird all at the same time. It's always on the joke, and it's very irreverent. The game gives people an 'I don't give a f*ck' attitude, and that's what we want to bring back in the movie, and I hope gamers will see that and see our respect for the game style."

In the game, Atlas is the name of a gun manufacturer and a large company. Ramirez will play the role of the company's founder, who is called a "business magnate and equipment manufacturer." He is also called "the strongest man in the universe." However, Atlas has never appeared in the game.

The film version of "Borderlands" has now been completed and will be officially released in 2022.
