Miike Takashi's "Yokai War" movie Inugami Gyobu debut trailer will be released on August 13

The famous Japanese director Takashi Miike's masterpiece "Yokai War" will launch a new version "Yokai War: Guardians", which he will continue to direct. The film will be released on August 13, 2021. Today (July 20), the official released a promotional video of Inugami Gyobu's appearance. The video shows the shocking scene of Inugami Gyobu driving a flaming motorcycle with 808 raccoon dogs towards Kai (played by Shin Terada) and others.

The old version of "Yokai War" was released in 2005. The new version is called "Yokai War: Guardians", which tells a new story about a fifth-grade elementary school student named Watanabe who inherited the blood of a monster hunter and embarked on a great adventure with monsters. The survival of the world hangs on a thread.

The confirmed roles are all from famous traditional Japanese monsters, including Tengu played by Miura Takahiro, Gyoutori played by Ando Sakura, Yokaido played by Omori Nanpei, Orangutan played by Okura Koji, and Yuki Onna played by Oshima Yuko, etc.
