The movie "Borderlands" may have a handsome Jack Easter egg at the end to pave the way for the sequel

Gearbox President Randy Pitchford has confirmed that the upcoming live-action Borderlands movie will have a scene at the end that hints at Handsome Jack's arrival, setting the stage for a sequel.

Recently, fans speculated that the Borderlands movie might end with a hint about Handsome Jack. In response, Pitchford said: "We shot a lot of different options. Assuming we actually do this, I would say your probability is just right. I'm on the director Eli Roth's team, so I will support whatever he thinks is right."

Previously, actor Kevin Hart, who plays Roland in the film, believed that the film might have multiple sequels in the future.

"Somehow I find myself in this space where you can see parts of this IP that are making it to the big screen and have the potential to be something more... Borderlands, nobody knows what's going to happen, but if it really hits the fan base, you might get Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. That would be great."

The live-action Borderlands movie has now been completed, but post-production work may take some time.
