Concept art of the Chinese-New Zealand co-produced animated film "Legend of the Upright Elephant" released

The concept design of the first co-produced animated film between China and New Zealand, "The Legend of the Upright Elephant", was revealed for the first time. It is carefully polished and ingenious, creating a visual feast of Eastern and Western aesthetics! The film will be released in theaters nationwide on July 30.

"The Legend of the Upright Elephant" tells the story of "Peach and Chestnut Elephant" Muzili who resolutely embarks on a fantasy adventure to "find himself" in order to break the shackles of slavery, and overcomes numerous difficulties in the process, and finally regains freedom for his whole family.

The film is comparable to Hollywood standards in terms of character modeling, picture composition, color matching, lighting effects, and scene creation. Forests, caves, cliffs, waterfalls, etc. are all referenced from real natural scenes, and even details like a leaf, a wooden stake, and a rock are not spared.

"The Legend of the Upright Elephant" was jointly produced by China Film Co., Ltd., China Film Animation Industry Co., Ltd. and New Zealand's Huhu Studio.
