Disney's live-action version of "The Little Mermaid" wrapped up, Black Mermaid shared new photos

Recently, Halle Bailey announced on Instagram that the filming of Disney's live-action version of "The Little Mermaid" starring her has been completed. She also shared a photo of the beachside set and said with emotion: "Just like that... it's over. I auditioned when I was 18, and finished filming during the epidemic when I was 21. We finally succeeded... I was very excited because I experienced all the glory of this movie. But this was also the most difficult experience. I felt lonely away from acquaintances, but after working hard and persevering, I finally reached the end."

From the photos taken on the set at the beach, we can see Halle Bailey's mermaid look. Under the setting sun, she shows off her graceful figure at the beach.

Halle Bailey also thanked Jonah Hauer-King, Javier Bardem, Melissa McCarthy and others for helping make the filming experience so unforgettable. She can't wait for fans to see the film because it was made with so much love (and sweat and tears).

The movie "The Little Mermaid" is adapted from the classic Disney animation of the same name. It tells the story of a young mermaid who falls in love with a prince. In order to join the ranks of humans, she makes a deal with the sea witch and exchanges her voice for a pair of legs. Black female singer Halle Bailey plays the mermaid Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King plays Prince Eric, Javier Bardem plays Ariel's father King Triton, Melissa McCarthy plays the villain Ursula, Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina play Ariel's friends Flounder and Scuttle, and David Diggs plays the red crab Sebastian.

The Little Mermaid movie is directed by Rob Marshall, written by Jane Goldman, and Lin-Manuel Miranda and Disney legendary composer Alan Menken will create new songs. The film is tentatively scheduled to be released in North America in 2022.
