The Last of Us TV series may premiere in the second half of 2022

HBO officially started filming the live-action adaptation of "The Last of Us" on July 5. The film was completed on June 8, 2022. Kantemir Balagov, who was recently confirmed to direct the show, mentioned the live-action TV series "The Last of Us" in his job experience, followed by the time of 2022, which means we will most likely see the show air next year.

Other actors who have been announced so far include: Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Merle Dandridge as the firefly leader Marlene, and Gabriel Luna as Tommy.

"The Last of Us" was developed by the famous studio Naughty Dog. It tells the story of humans facing the crisis of extinction due to modern infectious diseases. When the environment returns to nature from the ruined city, the surviving humans kill each other for survival.
