Today, July 11, Toei announced the latest box office of the animated film "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End". It has been 125 days since its release on March 8. The current total box office is 9.88 billion yen, and it is just around the corner to reach 10 billion. The chief director Hideaki Anno attended the celebration press conference today and said that he has done his best under the existing technical conditions.


· "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" is directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Khara Studio. It is the fourth part of the Evangelion Tetralogy, which is a reconstruction of "Neon Genesis Evangelion". The story takes place in the red, deserted Paris, where WILLE, centered on Wunder, sends a crew led by Ritsuko to try to restore the city.

Chief director Hideaki Anno said that he has done his best in the animation he has produced so far, and that he has been able to roughly realize his ideas and thoughts under the existing technical conditions. Currently, the latest box office of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 You Can (Not) Advance" has surpassed the director's previous record-breaking work "Shin Godzilla" released in 2016.
