Haruno Kasumi

The main character, Kasumi, is a bright and energetic girl in the fourth grade of elementary school. Her nickname is "Kasumin" and she was named by Ryunosuke. Ryunosuke

Ryunosuke is the son of the Dragon King who rules the Henamon world, and has been entrusted to the Kasumi family to learn about the human world. His nickname is "Ryu-chan" and he is extremely selfish, but he also has a spoiled side. He acts as the boss at the Henamon Nursery School, and his special moves are the "Ryu-chan Bomber" and the "Ryu-chan Wave". He has the ability to control water and can transform into a seahorse.

Kasumi Senzaemon

He is the head of the Kasumi family and comes from a prestigious family of Henamon. He takes care of the Henamon, but does not allow Kasumi to live in the Kasumi household because he believes that humans and Henamon should not interact. Kasumi Sakura Girl

She is Senzaemon's wife and has a vague and airheaded personality. She warmly embraces her family and is able to accept the stubborn Senzaemon. She is a kind person who cares for Kasumi and supports her. She dreams of a future where humans and Henamon can live together in harmony. She has the ability to scatter cherry blossom storms, and it is said that cherry blossoms have a secret power.

Sentaro Kasumi

He is the eldest son of the Kasumi family and is an artist who creates strange objects. He is quiet and doesn't say much, but he has a kind and timid personality. He fell in love with Kasumi's homeroom teacher, Masae-sensei, at first sight, but he doesn't know when that love will come to fruition. He can make pink cotton candy.

Kasumi Ranko

She is the eldest daughter of the Kasumi family, and was married once but returned home after getting divorced. She often fights with her father, Senzaemon. She is free-spirited, trendy, strong-willed, and likes men. She often bosses Kasumi around, but sometimes shows her good older sister side. She is particular about beauty and works part-time as a model. She uses the wind god and thunder god as her assistants. She has the ability to control flowers.

Mrs. Haniwa

A servant who has served the Kasumi family for generations, she is proud of the prestigious Kasumi family. She left the Kasumi family after marrying her beloved Darling, but no one has seen him to this day. Even after leaving, she frequently comes to the Kasumi family and acts like a mother-in-law, telling Kasumi this and that. Her catchphrase is "Noda wa...", but the power of this is unknown.

Wind God

He serves the Dragon King together with Raijin under Senzaemon. He is usually overworked as Ranko's assistant, but his powers as a Henamon are strong. He has the ability to control the wind, and rides a motorcycle equipped with a Hena Radar.

God of Thunder

Potpot

He is a pot hennamon, and resembles a penguin. His joy and purpose in life is being able to serve hot water whenever he wants. He helps Kasumi out at the Kasumi household. His hands can stretch further than you'd think, and he has a sweet, obedient personality. His catchphrase is "Hey, hot water~".

Digital Camera

He is a digital camera henmon, and resembles a turtle. He is connected to Printer Jiro, a printer henmon, by a cable, and their friendship is bound together. His dream is to make his mark in the henmon art world. He is weak in a pinch, and a little cunning. His catchphrase is "It's a shutter chance."

Arai-san

He is a scrubbing brush Hennamon, and the scrubbing brush on his head can be removed. He always helps with washing the dishes. He is bright and cheerful, and good at dancing, but he is also an intellectual who graduated from the doctoral course at Hennamon University. He sometimes helps Kasumi with her studies, and also works as a Hennamon counselor. His catchphrase is "... right?"

Chintaro

He's a microwave oven hennamon that resembles a dog. He has the ability to heat up anything, and can even use his hennamon power to get the plug out. Although he usually only says "Cin!", he has a thoughtful personality. He's also surprisingly calm and sensible.

Wet cloth

He's a rag nerd and always helps out with the mopping. He's a bit timid, but when he went to school once, he controlled a lot of mopping machines and made the whole school sparkling clean. When he sees dirt, he wants to clean it up, and his catchphrase is "I'm just a humble mop."

Pudding Tajiro

He is a printer nerd, and looks laid back, but he is reliable when it comes to emergencies. He doesn't usually talk much, but he may actually be very smart. He and Digital Camera are connected by a cable and have a friendship. Digital Camera says that "Print Tajiro has a sharp sense."

Yukino Fuyuta

A mysterious girl who transferred to the class next to Kasumi's, she is actually a Henamon of the Kiri clan. She rebels against Kasumi living with a Henamon in the Kasumi household, and constantly challenges her. She has a proud and straightforward personality. She has the ability to control snow, and can create blizzards and freeze things. Judging from the challenge letter, she may not be good at writing or drawing.

Mashiro

Yukino's faithful friend, Pochette's Hennamon. It resembles a flying squirrel and can fly by spreading its limbs. Although it looks cute, it also has a devilish side, playing pranks on Kasumi. It is responsible for delivering challenges from Yukino to Kasumi.

Kirino Kirihiko

He is the heir to the Kiri family and has a cool, silent personality. He came to Kasumi Town after hearing that a human named Kasumi lives in the Kasumi family. At first he was hostile towards Kasumi and humans, but as he attends elementary school in the human world and interacts with his classmates and the Kasumi family's Henamon, he begins to think about a future where the Henamon world and the human world can coexist. He has the ability to control fog, and he and Kasumi may have a secret crush on each other.

Haruo Kirima

He is the head of the Kiri clan's hardline faction, and is plotting to get his hands on the key that Kasumi possesses, "something that opens it." He is gentle-spoken, but when there is a problem with the Kasumi family, he takes advantage of it and tries to drive them out of the human world. There are some aspects of his inner self that are unclear.

Sakakibara Maple

She is Kasumi's classmate, and after accidentally learning about the existence of Henamon, she gets along well with Kasumi and the Henamon. Abe Yuri

Shikao Tsuchimikado

Yamada Koala

Masae Okawara

Master

He is the owner of the bar "Stranger", and his name and private life are a complete mystery. He is a cool guy, and is a good confidant for Kasumi. He encourages her with meaningful advice. Kasumi finds peace and tranquility when she drinks Stranger's special drinks. Ranko and Fujin Raijin are also regular customers at this bar.

Luna Sakakibara

She is one of Kaede's twin sisters and wears a pink ribbon in her hair. She is quite a tomboy and loves to play pranks. She uses Arai-san as a toy and fights with Ryunosuke, but she can't go against Kaede. She is more reliable than Naruto and hates to lose.

Naru Sakakibara

She is one of Kaede's twin sisters and wears glasses. She is quite a tomboy and loves to play pranks. She uses Arai-san as a toy and fights with Ryunosuke, but she can't stand up to Kaede. Compared to Luna, she is a bit of a crybaby.

It seems to like Kasumi.

Dogu-chan

She is Mrs. Haniwa's niece and a beautiful girl in the world of henamon. She trains hard every day to become an idol singer. She has become good at singing and dancing, but she is selfish and self-centered, and often makes Kasumi do things for her.

Dragon King

He is the king of the Henamon world and Ryunosuke's father. He worries about Ryunosuke from afar and watches over him while he is staying with the Kasumi family.

Dragon Queen

She is the wife of Ryuo and the mother of Ryunosuke. She has a very calm and gentle personality.

Instructor

He is an instructor for the Mist Corps, and instructs the trainees who will become the Mist Corps in the future.
