story

The story of "Tenpatsu Angel Rabbie" is set in a future world where magic and science have merged. Once upon a time, magic and science existed on this planet, and their fusion brought about great changes to humanity. The magical city of Sorcerium, built on the moon, has been researching every day and brought great wealth to humanity. However, its glory was destroyed by the "Great Magic War" that occurred between Earth and the moon. The few humans who survived on Earth have begun to build a new civilization after thousands of years, but the scars of the "Great Magic War" are deep, and many strange phenomena exist that threaten humanity.

Meanwhile, angels sent from Heaven are fighting to protect humanity from these threats. This story depicts their exploits in a humorous way, but also suggests that there is a deep darkness behind their existence.

character

The main characters of "Tenpatsu Angel Rabbie" are as follows.

Rusty Farson/Angel Lovey

Rusty Farson is a 16-year-old 27th generation angel with the code name Angel Rabbie. She has a modest and serious personality, and is characterized by her heterochromatic eyes, one red and one blue. As her appearance suggests, she is prone to misfortune, and she likes TV historical dramas. She debuted as a new surrogate, and because her true magical powers have been sealed away, she appears to be around 12 years old. When her abilities are released (after transformation), she returns to her original 16-year-old form, and although her magical powers are very high, she is not good at fighting. Her robot is the Motold Sedge (Mo-chan).

Fear Note/Lightning Millie

Fia=Note is a 17-year-old 26th generation angel with the code name Lightning Milly. She is a surrogate one year older than Rusty and her mode is light. Although she has a headstrong and busybody personality, she is a cheerful and honest girl at heart. On the other hand, she also has a sensitive side. Her mobile suit is the Formhead Waker.

Saria Winnes

Saaria Wynes is a 16-year-old 27th generation angel and Rusty's personal operator. She is hardworking but extremely clumsy, and her erroneous operation has exposed Rusty to many perils. She is a girl with cat genes and places great importance on her wild instincts. This may also be one of the disasters that Rusty's unfortunate constitution brings about.

Shirley Farson

Seery Farson is one of the seven sisters and a thirteenth generation angel. She picked up Rusty on Earth during her active years and is a strict but good superior to the angels. She is also someone Rusty looks up to.

Arte Sema

Arte Sema is a 19-year-old, 25th generation angel and blind operator in charge of Fear. By directly linking her consciousness with the computer, she is able to obtain various information, making her an excellent operator. However, her instructions demand the very limits of Fear's specs, so she is always operating with little time to spare. In terms of a super computer versus a wild instinct, she does not get along well with Saria.

Rukia Shawl/Dark Ciel

Lukia Shawl is a 16-year-old 26th generation angel with the code name Dark Ciel. She is one year older than Rusty and is a surrogate who has gone into hiding on Earth and cut off contact. Her mode is darkness, and for some reason she appears before Rusty as an enemy. What her true intentions are is an important mystery in the story. Her mobile suit is the Black Cadiz.

Worldview

The world of "Tenpatsu Angel Rabbie" depicts a future world where magic and science are fused together. The magical city of Sorcerium, built on the moon, once brought great wealth to mankind, but was destroyed by the "Great Magic War." The humans who survived on Earth began to build a new civilization, but the scars of the "Great Magic War" are deep, and many strange phenomena exist that threaten humanity.

The Angels dispatched from Heaven are elites selected from the lower-ranking angels of the Sorcerium, and are dispatched to Earth to fight to protect humanity from threats. Each of them has their own specialty magic (mode), and in combat they use angelic combat (Angel Arts). They are supported by their own dedicated Operators, and in order to get into combat mode, the Operators must submit a request to the base, and without their approval, they cannot use their special abilities (magic).

The orbital station "Angel Chamber" is the upper station of the orbital elevator located on the equator, and is the base where "Surrogators" are trained and dispatched. They descend the shaft in a small one-man mobile weapon "Feather" and head through the trees to their dispatch location. Feather is powered by a small "E-Drive (Philosopher's Stone engine)", which can be said to be the lifeblood of the magical nation of Sorcerium, and after freefalling at an intense speed, its trajectory is changed by the "G-Canceller" using the "Gravity Stone", and it is transported to the mission location. This control is done by the operator.

The Historiographical Church "Aterui" is an organization engaged in missionary activities around the world, much like Christianity in the Middle Ages. In reality, it is like a treasure hunter's association searching for "technology that once existed," ingratiating itself with local leaders and rulers to gather information about "treasure," excavate it, and use that power to conquer the world. Agents are called "Fathers," and are often the target of punishment by "Angels."
