■ Story

This is the fourth TV anime based on the Takara Tomy toy series "Zoids", which has a motif of animals such as dinosaurs. A total of 50 episodes were aired from April 2005 to March 2006. Thousands of years have passed since the planet Zi, where the Zoids series is set, experienced an axis shift and the highly developed civilization collapsed. The story progresses in an era where the survivors have built their own civilizations in various places. Zoids have been excavated as relics of past civilizations, and the protagonist, Ruuji Familon, grew up in a family that excavates such Zoids. However, he was troubled because he was the only one who could not control Zoids. One day, when the Digald Warrior Kingdom suddenly attacked the village, Ruuji succeeded in fighting on the Murasame Liger that he had just excavated. However, the generator, an important facility for the village, was destroyed, so he set off on a journey to find an engineer who could repair it. Ruuji made many encounters and became a central figure in the anti-Digald movement.

Ruuji Familon The protagonist of this story. He grew up in a family of Zoid pilots, but Ruuji was the only one who could not pilot a Zoid. However, when the village was attacked by the Digald military nation, he boarded a Murasame Liger that had just been pulled out of the sea, and has been piloting Murasame Liger ever since. A young man with a strong sense of justice and a brimming with curiosity.
・A central figure in the anti-Digald movement against La Can. Former lord of the Kida Clan, he was well-liked and known as a wise ruler. When the Kida Clan was invaded by the Principality of Digald (later the Digald Military Nation), he surrendered and left the clan to avoid many casualties. He is still being targeted by assassins from the Digald Military Nation. Although he does not like fighting by nature, he throws himself into fighting because he wants to create a country where people can live with smiles on their faces.
- Le My La Can's niece. She has been with La Can since he left the country. Although she is of royal origin, she has been traveling constantly since she was old enough to understand, so she grew up to be a tomboy. However, because La Can is her role model, she still has an elegant demeanor. She is skilled in self-defense techniques taught directly by La Can, and calls herself La Can's bodyguard. She has survived many battles and knows how to survive on the battlefield. She is not good at cooking or romance.
Kotona Elegance Everything about her, from her occupation to her age and even her real name, is a mystery. By the way, Kotona Elegance is her pseudonym. Rumor has it that she comes from a town where metallurgy is the main industry, but it is said that there is a curse on that town. Her secret may lie somewhere around there, but it is unknown. - Thundering Garaga: Former leader of the anti-Digald resistance movement. Since then, he has been traveling with Rouge and the others. He has a bossy, generous personality.
-Lon Mangan A former merchant who traveled from place to place. He joined Garaga's group before he knew it. If there is something he needs, he will get it from somewhere. He is talkative and cheerful, but he is also a rare bookworm in this world, and has knowledge that even La Can is impressed with. He seems to have some secret.
Seijuro: A man who once won ten straight championships at the Kagrack City martial arts tournament and was known as the strongest Zoids rider. He has no interest in success or money, and continues his journey simply to improve himself. He is silent and loyal, and once he receives a favor he never forgets it. He becomes Ruuji's sword master.
One of the senior officers of the Zairindigald Martial Empire army, he is a genius Zoid pilot. He is the first to come into contact with the protagonist, Rouge, and thereafter, as if drawn by fate, he frequently fights on various fronts. He is intelligent and takes great pride as a Zoid pilot, and continues to fight in pursuit of strength.
