■ Main Characters

・Steel Galaxy

The protagonist of this work. The stronger the opponent, the more fired up he becomes. A typical hot-blooded blader. He always has respect for his rivals, and wants to continue battling Kyoya and Tsubasa. He has rich emotions. He's not the cleverest, but he understands the pain of others and is someone you can rely on when it matters. He's a member of the Japanese team "Gan Gan Galaxy."

・Masamune Kadoya

A member of the Japanese team "Gangan Characters". He was unable to participate in the Battle Bladers tournament while he was overseas. Ginga won the tournament while he was away, and he was very dissatisfied with the fact that everyone was praising him as the strongest, so he challenges the winner, Ginga, to a battle. He is reckless and clumsy, but you can't help but like him. His talent with bays is outstanding, but his unconventional behavior often makes him a troublemaker.

・Tsubasa Otori

A member of the Japanese team. Quiet and cool. The only member of the Japanese team who can calmly judge things(?). Because a dark aura remained in his body during his battle with Ryuga, his dark side can go out of control when the battle gets heated...

・Yuu Tendo

A sub-member of the Japanese team "Gan Gan Galaxy". A genius blader who can do anything without practice. He has a straightforward personality and is friendly to everyone. When he gets attached to someone, he calls them by nicknames.

・Kyouya the Shield God (Mane)

Ginga's rival. He has a bad mouth, but he's actually a good guy who cares about his friends. He made it through the Japanese team preliminaries, but refused to join the Japanese team in order to play against Ginga. He will compete in the world championships as a member of the African team "Wild Fang".

・Amano Madoka

Although he doesn't battle himself, he has a wealth of knowledge about Beys. He is also an excellent match analyzer. He accompanies Ginga and the others as a mechanic for the Japanese team.

Metal Fight Beyblade Baku - A story of passionate battles and friendship

"Metal Fight Beyblade Baku" is the second anime series based on Takara Tomy's popular toy "Beyblade," and was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April 4, 2010 to March 27, 2011. The story depicts the growth of boys through Beyblade battles, and has themes of passionate battles and friendship.

Story and Characters

In the previous work "Metal Fight Beyblade", the main character, Ginga Hagane, won the Battle Bladers after a deadly battle with Ryuga. However, the victory was short-lived as a new rival, Masamune Kadotani, appeared and challenged Ginga for the title of No. 1 Blader. Meanwhile, the first World Championship hosted by the new WBBA is being held, and friends Kenta, Benkei, Tsubasa, and Yu appear, battling for the position of Japan's representative. In particular, Kyoya, who appeared out of nowhere, won the preliminaries but refused to join the Japanese team in order to fight Ginga, and instead participated in the world championship as a member of the African team "Wild Fang".

The Japanese team is made up of five members: Ginga, Masamune, Tsubasa, Yu, and mechanic Madoka. They grow as they face off against strong opponents from all over the world. Ginga is a typical passionate blader, and the stronger the opponent, the more passionate he becomes. Masamune was overseas and was unable to join the Battle Bladers, so he was dissatisfied with Ginga's victory, but he still showed his talent. Tsubasa has a calm and cool personality, and is the only member of the team who can make calm decisions. Yu is a genius blader who has the ability to do anything without practicing. Kyoya has a bad mouth but is a caring person for his friends, and he adds excitement to the story as Ginga's rival. Madoka has a wealth of knowledge about Beys and supports the team as a mechanic who is good at analyzing matches.

Battle and grow

In "Metal Fight Beyblade Baku," the Beyblades used by each character play an important role. Each Beyblade, such as Ginga's Galaxy Pegasis, Masamune's Rei Unicorno, Tsubasa's Earth Aquila, Yu's Flame Libra, and Kyoya's Rock Leone, reflects the character's personality and adds excitement to the battle scenes. In particular, the battles at the world tournament depicting showdowns with the strongest opponents from each country are full of tension and excitement.

The story is not just about battles, but also about the growth of the characters. Ginga reaffirms the value of her own strength and friendship through her battles with her rivals, while Masamune gains confidence by believing in his own talents. Tsubasa faces himself in the battle against the dark aura, and Yu values his bonds with his teammates while making the most of his genius talents. Kyoya deepens his friendship through his battles with Ginga, and Madoka grows as a support for the team.

Music and Production

The opening theme "Galaxy Heart" is sung by YU+KI, and its powerful melody and lyrics bring out the passion of the work. The ending theme "Ozora wo Koete Yuke" is sung by Odoriba Soul, and gently expresses the themes of friendship and growth. The animation is also superb, and the battle scenes that make full use of CG are full of excitement and have the power to draw the viewer in. In addition, the expressions and movements of each character are drawn in detail, and the changes in their emotions and their growth are conveyed realistically.
