Ron Perlman joins Transformers 7 to voice the voice of Optimus Prime

According to a recent report by Collider, Ron Perlman has confirmed that he will join Transformers: Rise of the Beasts to voice the "Captain of the Apes" Optimus Primal, a role he previously voiced in the animated series Transformers: Gurren Lagann. Peter Cullen will continue to voice Optimus Prime.

Ron Perlman won the American Golden Globe Award for his role as the lion Vincent in "Young and Dangerous". He later starred in films such as "Hellboy", "Blade 2" and "Pacific Rim".

Transformers 7: Rise of the Beasts stars Anthony Ramos (Hamilton) and Dominic Fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah), is directed by Stephen Caple Jr. (Creed 2), and written by Joby Harold (Edge of Tomorrow). The film revolves around the battle between the Power Rangers and Beasts. The battle on Earth is not only between the Autobots and the Decepticons, but also between the Maximus, the Primals, and the Dragon Force. Optimus Prime is the commander of the Maximus team, and he fights a fierce battle with the Primals team led by Megatron (General Primals who stole the name of the first Megatron).

"Transformers 7: Rise of Beasts" will be released in North America on June 24, 2022.
