Scarlett Johansson to star in new version of "Magic Hotel" adapted from Disney attraction

According to foreign media reports, Scarlett Johansson will star in the new version of "Magic Hotel", which is adapted from Disney's amusement project The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, which was starred in a TV movie by Kirsten Dunst in 1997. It is reported that the script is written by Josh Cooley, the director of "Toy Story 4" and the screenwriter of "Inside Out", and Scarlett Johansson will serve as the producer.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a free-fall ride in several Disney parks, including Hollywood Studios in Florida, the United States, Tokyo DisneySea, and Walt Disney Studios in Paris, France. The version at Disney California Adventure was replaced by Guardians of the Galaxy: Breakout! on January 2, 2017.

The film is set in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel. The premise of the story is that on the night of October 31, 1939, the hotel was struck by lightning, causing an elevator full of passengers to be transported to the Twilight Zone.

The Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida is based on the television series The Twilight Zone, while the Tower of Terror attractions in Japan and France have nothing to do with the TV series.
