Sydney Sweeney to star in new Barbarella film

According to Sina Film, Sydney Sweeney, who played the role of "Sydney Girl" in the hit TV series "Euphoria", has been confirmed to star in Sony's new version of "Barbarella" movie.

The screenwriter and director have not yet been determined, and Sweeney is expected to serve as executive producer. "Barbarella" is adapted from the French comic by Jean-Claude Fauré, and the 1968 film version starring Jane Fonda was released. It tells the story of a 41st century space heroine who stops an evil scientist from bringing crisis to the entire galaxy.
