According to Sina Film, Sydney Sweeney, who played the role of "Sydney Girl" in the hit TV series "Euphoria", has been confirmed to star in Sony's new version of "Barbarella" movie. The screenwriter and director have not yet been determined, and Sweeney is expected to serve as executive producer. "Barbarella" is adapted from the French comic by Jean-Claude Fauré, and the 1968 film version starring Jane Fonda was released.
