Haruki Murakami's masterpiece "Drive My Car" is scheduled to be released on August 20

The official release date of the movie of the same name adapted from the famous short story "Driving My Car" by the famous writer Haruki Murakami was announced today on May 27. It is scheduled to be officially released on August 20, so stay tuned.

· "Drive My Car" is a drama film directed and written by Ryusuke Hamaguchi and starring Hidetoshi Nishijima. It tells the story of Yusuke Iefuku (Hidetoshi Nishijima), who is both a stage actor and director, and his wife, Oto (Rika Kirishima), who is a screenwriter, living a happy life. But Amane left a secret and suddenly left this world.

Two years later, Iefuku, who is working as a drama director, drives his car to Hiroshima, where he meets the taciturn exclusive driver Watari (Toru Miura). Iefuku, who lives with a sense of loss, notices some things he has been avoiding while being with Watari.
