Star Wars spin-off "Obi-Wan" to start filming in April, cast revealed

Recently, Disney+ officially announced that the "Star Wars" series spin-off "Obi-Wan Kenobi" will start filming in April, and officially revealed the cast. Let's take a look!

Ewan McGregor returns to play Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi Master who is very popular in the Star Wars series. Hayden Christensen returns to play Darth Vader. Darth, originally named Anakin Skywalker, is the protagonist of the Star Wars prequel trilogy and an important villain in the Star Wars original trilogy.

Edgerton and Piesse will also return to play Luke's uncle Owen and aunt Beru. In addition, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessel, and Ben Safdie will also star in the series.

Directed by Deborah Chow, Obi-Wan is set 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Obi-Wan will use the StageCraft technology from The Mandalorian to shoot landscapes on set using LED projection screens.
