According to a recent report by Sina Film, the box office of the re-release of "Avatar" in mainland China has officially exceeded 300 million, surpassing the previous re-release box office ranking of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" with 192 million. On the 12th day of its release, the film won the daily box office with more than 5 million yuan. The box office of "Avatar" 11 years ago was 1.34 billion, and the cumulative box office is 1.64 billion.

"Avatar" is an epic science fiction film released in 2009 (released in mainland China on January 2, 2010), written and directed by James Cameron, with main actors including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez and Stephen Lang.

The film is set in 2154 and tells the story of humans wearing the bodies of avatars and flying to the distant planet Pandora to mine resources. After being injured and using a wheelchair, former navy Jack voluntarily accepts the experiment and comes to Pandora with his avatar.
