Feminist netizens call for the suspension of Demon Slayer: Yugoku Animation; only 6% of tweets in the survey agree

Recently, the second season of the "Demon Slayer" TV animation, which has become extremely popular in Japan and has become a national anime, "Yukaku" was officially announced to be produced, sparking heated discussions among Japanese netizens. The focus is on the ancient red-light district "Yukaku". Recently, a netizen who claims to be a feminist tweeted a survey, calling on netizens to jointly boycott the production of the animation. The result is surprising.

According to the original meaning of the Japanese word, "Yukuoku" refers to a term from the Edo period in Japan, where prostitutes allowed by the government gathered together in a specially designated area surrounded by walls. In simple terms, it was the ancient red-light district.

The problem is that, given the huge influence of Demon Slayer in Japan, many criticisms have been pouring in. Critics angrily said that naming the character Yugoku would have a bad influence on children, and there were also many voices of "discrimination against women".

This netizen initiated a Twitter survey with the question "Do you agree with the production of the Yukuo Arc of Demon Slayer?", and more than 90% of the participants agreed with the production.

·Most netizens said that this might be a "fishing post" to gain popularity, and the second season of the "Demon Slayer" TV animation "Yukuo Arc" should not be affected by "public opinion" and will be released soon.
