Jason Momoa may star in The Witcher TV prequel The Witcher: Bloodline

Netflix previously announced the prequel to "The Witcher", "The Witcher: Blood Origin" . Recently, according to foreign media Redanian Intelligence, "Aquaman" Jason Momoa may star in "The Witcher: Blood Origin". Although the official news has not yet been announced, Momoa seems to be Netflix's first choice.

If Jason Momoa really can star in "The Witcher: Bloodline", he will become the two most dazzling stars in Netflix's "The Witcher" universe together with Henry Cavill.

The story of The Witcher: Bloodline Origins is set in the elf world 1200 years before The Witcher. It tells the origin of the demon hunters and the "celestial conjunction" event that led to the intersection of the human, elf and monster worlds. Declan de Bara, the screenwriter of The Witcher, is the playwright, and Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of The Witcher novel, is the producer and creative consultant. The series has a total of 6 episodes.

The second season of The Witcher has resumed filming. The second season no longer has multiple story lines, but will feature an original character that did not appear in the original novel or game, an important demon hunter. The specific broadcast time of the second season of The Witcher has not yet been determined, and the producer has said that it will be released sometime in 2021.
