"Hello, Li Huanying" box office exceeded 4 billion: word of mouth crushed "Detective Chinatown 3"

On the evening of February 21, the cumulative box office of "Hello, Li Huanying" exceeded 4 billion yuan, becoming the sixth in Chinese film history. Its speed was second only to "Detective Chinatown 3" released on the same day, which just set the record for the fastest mainland film to break 4 billion yuan at the box office.

However, the box office of "Hello, Li Huanying" is already infinitely close to "Detective Chinatown 3", and it will soon be ranked fifth in Chinese film history and fourth in mainland films, second only to "Wolf Warrior 2", "Nezha: The Return of the Demon King" and "The Wandering Earth".

Currently, "Hello, Li Huanying" has far more screenings than "Detective Chinatown 3", and it is no surprise that its box office continues to far exceed the latter.

For example, today, as of the time of writing, the total box office of "Hello, Li Huanying" is 250 million, accounting for more than 55%, while "Detective Chinatown 3" is only 80 million, accounting for less than 18%.

Moreover, unlike "Detective Chinatown 3", which was popular at first but then declined, with a good box office but poor reputation, "Hello, Li Huanying" not only made a comeback at the box office, but its reputation has been rising all the way. Now its Douban score is as high as 8.1, while "Detective Chinatown 3" has been declining all the way and has dropped to 6.5, and there is a trend of further decline.
