The live-action movie "Until Dawn", adapted from the Supermassive PS4 horror game of the same name, has started filming. Asad Qizilbash, product leader of PlayStation Studios Group and head of PlayStation Film and Television Department, released the first set photo of the live-action movie "Until Dawn", confirming that the film has begun production. The live-action film Until Dawn is directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation, Shazam), and written and produced by Gary Dauberman, who is the producer of the Annabelle series and the co-writer of IT and IT: Chapter 2. The live-action cast of Until Dawn includes Maia Mitchell, Belmont Cameli and Peter Stormare. Stormare played Dr. Hill in the game and is the only actor in the game to return to the movie. Other cast members include Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo and Odessa A'zion. “After working on Lights Out and Annabelle 2, I’ve been eager to make a horror film again, and this film explores many of horror’s great subgenres to create the most terrifying experience possible,” Sandberg told The Hollywood Reporter. The film captures the essence of the game but adds new characters, providing a great introduction to the world for new players while also giving fans of the game something new to enjoy.” |
