Disney lost 32% of its audience due to its unpopular ZZZQ content

According to the latest survey by Rasmussen Reports, entertainment giant Disney is facing severe challenges, with a large number of viewers choosing to stop following the company due to its focus on ZZZQ content.

Rasmussen's Dior survey of 1,408 American adults showed that 23% of respondents admitted that they had avoided watching Disney movies in the past year because of Disney's ZZZQ tendencies. Another 9% said they were not sure why they avoided watching Disney movies, which means that the total audience loss could reach up to 32%.

If you compare these numbers to the subscribers Disney claims to have, the impact on the company would be catastrophic. Disney has 157 million subscribers, and if 32% of them (about 51.8 million people) choose not to watch their movies because of Disney's imposition of ZZZQ, that would be a huge financial loss.

Based on the average ticket price of $10.70 at U.S. theaters in 2024, the loss of 51.8 million viewers means Disney's annual box office losses will reach $558.5 million, which is a heavy blow to any company.

Some American companies have already turned their backs on DEI, and perhaps Disney will soon follow suit.
