HBO to create new live-action Constantine series, darker, starring non-white people

According to foreign media theilluminerdi, a new "Constantine" series is coming. HBO MAX will create a new live-action "Constantine" series, which will be different from previous versions, darker, and no longer focus too much on religion, but restore the horror elements in the comics.

They are currently looking for a male lead, who must be a black, indigenous or colored person in his 20s, similar to a younger version of Riz Ahmed. It has not yet been determined when filming will start.

Previously, Warner and DC launched a live-action "Constantine" in October 2014, starring Matt Ryan. Matt Ryan had previously served as the face model for Edward, the protagonist of "Assassin's Creed 4: Primal Prime". However, just one month later, in November 2014, the live-action "Constantine" starring Matt Ryan was canceled after only one season.
