Dave Bautista admits he's willing to do anything in Gunn's new DCU, but has a favorite role

Dave Bautista, the actor who plays Drax the Destroyer in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy series of films, recently revealed in an interview with foreign media that he is willing to do anything, that is, play any role, in the new DCU movie universe led by Gunn.

However, Batista revealed that he actually had a favorite role: "I wanted to play Bane when I was young. It was a dream role for me." However, after "reaching a certain stage in his career", Batista felt that his age was no longer suitable for playing Bane, so he changed his mind.

"I thought, at this point in my career and my life, that I couldn't play the role perfectly," Bautista said. "Then I saw someone posted a picture online of me playing Lex Luthor, an older Lex Luthor. And I was kind of obsessed with the idea. Obviously, they scrapped that idea, so now, I'm trying to figure out my place in the DC movie universe. But I'm willing to do anything, really."
