Japanese manga artist Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi launches new manga "BUILD KING" after 4 years

Japanese manga artist Shimabukuro Mitsurugi has been gathering strength since his last work "Gourmet Prisoners" was completed in 2016. Today, on November 16, his new manga "BUILD KING" officially began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" after a lapse of 4 years. Let's look forward to it together.

"BUILD KING" will be an adventure story about "building battle fantasy". The protagonists are two craftsman brothers. The story will start on Hammer Island, far away from the crowd, and unfold the story of fighting against the harsh natural environment while building a home.

Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi, also known as Shimazai, is a manga artist for Shueisha's "SUPER JUMP" in Japan. He was born in 1975 and was once an assistant to Nobuhiro Watsuki. He is a manga artist of the same period as Eiichiro Oda. His painting style is rough and powerful, and his manga is known as "Tarzan Manga" in the industry.
