The "Star Wars" trilogy of films directed by George Lucas has caused a sensation around the world since the release of "A New Hope" in 1977, and has spawned a series of film and television, comics, animation, games and other works. Recently, a Twitter user named "@heyitswindy" discovered that beer advertisements were seamlessly implanted into the original trilogy films when they were screened in Chile, and the placement of the advertisements made it difficult to distinguish for viewers who had not seen the original films. For example, the iconic scene in which Obi-Wan hands Anakin's lightsaber to Luke Skywalker in the original version was turned into a funny scene in which Obi-Wan takes beer out of the refrigerator. But it has to be said that there is really no sense of disobedience. In the Chilean version of the "Star Wars" trilogy, there are more than one such implantations. |
