The new poster of the stage play of the masterpiece "Spirited Away" shows Kanna Hashimoto's appearance and spirit

On the evening of November 9, the official press conference was held to formally announce the production plan of the "Spirited Away" stage play. The planning time of this play is as long as 5 years. It will be a tribute to the 90th anniversary of the founding of Toho and is scheduled to be performed in many places in Japan from March 2, 2022.

The stage play of "Spirited Away" will be adapted and directed by John Caird, the director of the musical "Les Miserables". The main actors include Chihiro: Hashimoto Kanna and Shiraishi Mone, Haku: Daigo Kotaro and Miura Hironori, No-Face Man: Sugawara Koharu and Tsujimoto Tomohiko, Ling: Saki Miyu and Himikaze, Boiler Grandpa: Taguchi TOMOROO and Hashimoto SATOSI, and finally Yubaba/Zenitar: Natsuki MARI and Park Romi.

"Spirited Away" is a Japanese animated film produced by Studio Ghibli, directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki, and first released on July 20, 2001. The story tells the story of a little girl who accidentally enters the world of gods and then escapes successfully with a strong and unyielding heart after various twists and turns.

The film once became the highest-grossing film in Japanese history until it was surpassed by "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" in December 2020.
