Yu Wenwen will join the Hollywood sci-fi disaster film "Moonfall"

The sci-fi disaster film "Moonfall" directed by Roland Emmerich ("The Day After Tomorrow", "2012") started shooting recently. Patrick Wilson, Halle Berry, and Josh Gad have confirmed their participation, and Chinese actor Yu Wenwen ("Ex-Files 3") will also play an important role.

The film tells the story of the moon being driven by a mysterious force to leave its original orbit and fly towards the earth. Gravity is unbalanced and the earth is like doomsday. When everyone has given up hope in despair, a seemingly ragtag team decides to fight a final battle to protect the earth and mankind.

Lionsgate has acquired the North American distribution rights for the film, while Huayi Brothers is responsible for the Chinese distribution.
