Jaime Lannister may play Joel in The Last of Us TV series

In May this year, HBO announced that it would launch a TV series based on Naughty Dog's game of the same name, The Last of Us. Currently, apart from the director, screenwriter and producer of the series, not much information has been made public, especially the choice of the protagonist, which is the focus of the fans of the original work. However, according to the news obtained in a recent forum event, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, is expected to get a role in the TV series The Last of Us.

During a Q&A session on a foreign forum, a netizen asked Nikolaj Coster-Waldau if he played Joel in the HBO TV series The Last of Us. The actor did not directly deny or ignore the question. Instead, he said, "I just bought the second generation," and "It's a great game." Perhaps he answered the netizen's question from the side.

It is reported that the series of "The Last of Us" is mainly based on the plot of the first generation. Johan Renck, the director of "Chernobyl" and "Breaking Bad", will be the director. Craig Mazin, the screenwriter of "Chernobyl", will adapt the script with game producer Neil Druckmann. Naughty Dog President Evan Wells and "Chernobyl" executive producer Carolyn Strauss will serve as executive producers.

Troy Baker, the voice actor for the game version of "The Last of Us", believes that the actor who plays Thanos in "Avengers" is very suitable for Joel. What do you think?
