Yuichi Fukuda is going to make a live-action movie based on his new interpretation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The book Romance of the Three Kingdoms is based on historical facts, and it also leaves many unexplained or incomplete mysteries, leaving a lot of room for imagination for future generations. Yuichi Fukuda said that he wants to "make a new interpretation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms that no one has ever imagined before."

The film "A New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms" is written and directed by Yuichi Fukuda and starred by Yo Oizumi. It summarizes the historical facts about the struggle for hegemony between the three kingdoms of Wei, Wu and Shu in the late Han Dynasty of China about 1,800 years ago.
