According to recent reports from Japanese media, the first part of the classic fantasy anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", "Phantom Blood", will be made into a live-action movie. The first generation JOJO Jonathan Joestar will be played by Shingo Katori. It is scheduled to be released in the summer of 21, so stay tuned.

As the first JOJO (Jonathan Joestar) in the series, Phantom Blood tells the story of how JOJO's father took in the son of his "savior", an orphan named Dio Brando, and raised him to adulthood, but Dio plotted to seize the JOJO family's property and murdered Jonathan's father. After the plot failed, Dio put on the mysterious stone mask in order to take revenge, becoming an immortal vampire and gaining incredible power. Later, Jonathan also learned the ripple qigong that can kill vampires from William A. Zeppelin, and started a hard battle with Dio.

According to reports, Jonathan Joestar will be played by Shingo Katori, the heroine Alina will be played by Karina, and Dio will be played by Mokomichi Hayami.
