"Watchmen" finally won 11 Emmy Awards, and "Black-ish Manhattan" won the Best Supporting Actor Award

HBO's DC comic-adapted superhero series "Watchmen" won a total of 11 awards at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, including Best Limited Series, Best Actress & Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie, Best Writing for a Limited Series/TV Movie/Drama Special, as well as the Creative Emmy Awards a few days ago, becoming the biggest winner.

The lead actress Regina King won the 72nd Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for her role in "Watchmen". She played Angela Abar, an original character in the TV series. She is a former black female police officer who later became a vigilante.

Another black lead actor, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, won this year's Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for his role in "Watchmen," in which he played Dr. Manhattan, a character with super powers.
