At DC Fandome on Saturday, director Andy Muschietti, actor Ezra Miller, screenwriter Christina Hodson and others officially unveiled The Flash. As expected, the film will sort out all the timelines through time travel while telling the story of the Flash Barry Allen. Hodson said, "This film will give birth to the multiverse of DC movies, and everything is born from Barry's personal story." Miller added that the DC universe is very large, each character has a different version, and the same story can also unfold differently. "This movie opens a door and allows all the stories and characters to begin to collide with each other." The trailer uses clips from all Batman movies, and also confirms that Michael Keaton, who played Batman in 1989, and Ben Affleck, who played Batman in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, will play Batman in this film. In short, "If you can't explain it, then travel through time and space." Muschietti also announced the latest concept of The Flash, whose new combat suit was created by Bruce Wayne, which looks more natural and organic. Of course, this happened in the TV series, but just like Spider-Man: Multiverse can connect several Spider-Men together, The Flash will also connect all DC movies through parallel universes. In the previous crossover episode "Crisis on Infinite Earths" of the TV version of The Flash, Barry Allen, who traveled through the multiverse, once came face to face with the movie version of Barry. The Flash has yet to announce an official title and release date. |
