Jensen Ackles Joins The Boys Season 3 as Soldier Boy

Today (August 18), according to foreign media HollywoodReporter, Jensen Ackles has confirmed to join the third season of the superhero drama "The Boys", and he will play the superhero "Soldier Boy". This character participated in World War II and later became the first American superhero celebrity and a mainstream cultural icon.

Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, has worked with Ackles in Supernatural. He said with a smile: "I have dreamed of working with Ackles since I was a child, and now my dream has come true. Ackles is a great actor, like a warm chocolate chip cookie, and I regard him as my brother." Eric Kripke said Ackles will bring humor, appeal and danger to the role of Soldier Boy.

"The Boys" tells the story of an era when people with super powers are active. There are "Seven Heroes" similar to the Avengers/Justice League in the world, but noble justice is only their public image. In private, they burn, kill, rob and loot, and are extremely selfish. A group of small people formed the "The Boys" to regulate the "Seven" and prevent them from harming the world.
