According to Maoyan Professional Edition box office data, as of 00:00 on August 14, the re-released science fiction film "Interstellar" has surpassed the 100 million yuan box office mark. This is the second film to have surpassed the 100 million yuan box office mark since the resumption of work in mainland cinemas, and it is also the first re-released old film to have surpassed the 100 million yuan box office mark.

Interstellar tells the story of a team of explorers who use their new discovery of wormholes to surpass the limits of human space travel and begin interstellar travel in the vast universe. It premiered in China on November 12, 2014 and was re-released on August 2 this year. The cumulative box office in China has reached 855 million yuan.
