Nolan's hard science fiction blockbuster "Interstellar" was re-released in China today (August 2). The box office on the first day has exceeded 10 million yuan, and once again topped the box office list after the reopening of domestic theaters.

According to Maoyan Box Office Professional Edition, the box office of the re-release of "Interstellar" has reached 12.7691 million yuan, and the cumulative box office in the mainland has reached 760 million yuan. The re-released version of "Interstellar" is presented in the form of 2D IMAX, allowing the audience to once again feel the power of love and time and space.

"Interstellar" mainly tells the story of a team of explorers using their new discoveries about wormholes to surpass the limits of human space travel and begin interstellar travel in the vast universe. It premiered in China on November 12, 2014 and was re-released on August 2, 2020.
