Ghost of Tsushima to be adapted from the movie John Wick: Chapter 11

According to a recent report by Deadline, the popular game "Ghost of Tsushima" will be made into a Hollywood live-action movie, jointly produced by Sony Pictures and PlayStation. Chad Stahelski, the director of "John Wick", will direct the film, and game developer Sucker Punch will participate in the film production as an executive producer.

After the release of "Ghost of Tsushima" in July last year, it was well received. The sales of the game have exceeded 6.5 million so far. The film will adapt the story of "Ghost of Tsushima" and tell the story of the samurai Jin Sakai fighting for the freedom of Tsushima Island.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Chad to bring Jin Sakai’s story to the big screen,” said Asad Qizilbash, Head of PlayStation. “Chad’s passion for our games will ensure we create a rich adaptation that our fans and audiences will be excited about.”

The official has not disclosed the development progress of the "Ghost of Tsushima" movie, so let us wait patiently for follow-up reports.
