Wu Jing's "The Climber" has exceeded 100 million yuan in pre-sale box office and will be officially released on September 30

According to Maoyan data, The Climbers, starring Wu Jing, Zhang Ziyi, Zhang Yi, Jing Boran, Hu Ge and others, had a pre-sale box office of over 100 million yuan at 15:52 on September 27, becoming the second film to have a pre-sale box office of over 100 million yuan during the 2019 National Day holiday. The film will start a large-scale preview on the 28th and will be officially released on the 30th.

The Climbers tells the story of the first Chinese climb to the top of Mount Everest in 1960, when Wang Fuzhou, Gongbu (Tibetan), and Qu Yinhua, members of the Chinese mountaineering team, completed the first ascent of Mount Everest. In addition to Hu Ge, Wu Jing, Jackie Chan, Zhang Ziyi, Zhang Yi, Jing Boran, He Lin, Wang Jingchun, Chen Long, Lawang Norbu, and Qu Ni Ciren also joined the film. The film, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, will be released on September 30.
