Director Gunn confirms that The Suicide Squad will be an R-rated film

Director James Gunn confirmed that the "Suicide Squad" directed by him will be an R-rated film. The film is scheduled to be released in North America on August 6 and will be broadcast simultaneously on HBO MAX.

"The Suicide Squad" is not a direct sequel to the "Suicide Squad" series. Although it has some connection with the previous film, it is described as a "complete reboot". It was previously confirmed that Stallone will star in the film, but the specific role he plays in the film has not yet been announced.
